Sarah and Cody eloped in small town Sea Ranch, California with their closest loved ones. Their day was full of sunshine and coastal vibes.
Sarah & Cody’s California Coastal Elopement
I love that Sarah and Cody really made this elopement their own! Sarah wore gorgeous gold flower earrings and had a bouquet filled with little pieces of color – light purple, blue, and pink blooms.
After their intimate ceremony, they had dinner outside with their friends and family then shared cake in glasses. Golden hour was STUNNING with the long grass and coastal haze in the background. Their guests even brought a whole vibe with cohesive frilly and floral dresses, it was so cute!!
I really wanted to capture the intimacy and coastal vibes of this elopement so I took some fun film shots. These scream California summer and forever love to me!
About Sea Ranch, California
Sea Ranch is a small coastal town in central California and little known for elopements, but such an underrated location! It has a mix of forest and ocean scapes which make for stunning photos. Sea Ranch’s weather is more moderate than what you’d expect for California – since it’s on the coast you get a mix of sunny and foggy weather. The nice part about this area is that you’ll get pretty views with less crowds than some hot California spots, like Monterey or Carmel-By-The-Sea. If you live anywhere in the area or aren’t from the west coast and want a cozy and remote elopement, this could be a good spot to consider.
Plan ahead for your California elopement
