Janelle
Hi, I’m Janelle, a photographer based in Bend, OR. I’ve been shooting film since 2017, long before it became trendy, and photography has been a passion and hobby of mine ever since. I’m originally from California, but after college, I couldn’t resist the breathtaking landscapes and variety of mountains and coastlines that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. My love for adventure brought me here, and it’s where I met my husband, Kasey. Together, we’re the proud parents of two of the cutest pups, Tucker the golden retriever and Crosby the golden doodle.
I’m passionate about creating a senior photography experience that feels authentic, comfortable, and showcases the beauty of the landscapes that surround us. Having been a Young Life leader and working in the orthodontic field, I’ve spent years helping teenagers build confidence in themselves and their smiles, which means I naturally connect with teens. I think that comes through in my photography—I pay close attention to the details, love to laugh (even at my own jokes), and always aim to create an environment and gallery that feels true to who you are.
For me, photography is an art and adventure. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you and capture moments that feel uniquely you. I'm available for senior sessions in Bend, Sisters, Florence, Eugene, Corvallis, and other towns surrounding Bend.

HOW CAN I VIEW HER WORK?
An associate photographer is a trained by me photographer who fills in for me to photograph your session when I’m (SADLY) unavailable or my year is booked out! I’ll still be the one to edit your photos & will be your main point of communication throughout the process. I wish I could photograph every single session, but there’s just no way I can be in two places at once and burn out is so real! In order to be fully in the moment & energized for every session, I take on only a limited amount each year so I'm very happy to be able to offer my Janelle as my associate photographer!

You’ll communicate with Emily throughout the planning process. You’ll get in contact with your Janelle 24 hours before your session date.

Throughout the process, Emily will be the one planning with you and answering your questions via email & dm until your date. Janelle will reach out to you 24 hours before your session via dm (or text if you don't use insta) to chat about the weather, where to park for your session, etc.
